These terms and conditions apply to the online sale of all prints between Michael Alford (and his company, Salsola Ltd., 127 Trentham Street, London SW18 5DH, United Kingdom, registered in England and Wales, company number 8639357) and any visitors to his website www.michaelalford.co.uk.

About Michael Alford Prints
All the prints for sale on this site are reproductions of original artworks by Michael Alford. He offers them as limited editions, with each print personally signed and numbered by the artist.
Prints are professionally printed on heavy, museum-grade, archival paper using the most advanced printing technologies available. The result is a work of art in its own right and should be treated as an original.
The price quoted in the product description includes the artwork only. Prints are not framed or otherwise mounted. Any image on the site showing a framed print is for illustration purposes only.
Michael Alford is the sole author of the all the artwork offered for sale on this site. He retains full copyright and intellectual property rights in every instance.
Ordering
Our prints are individually printed to order. Your order will be processed once we’ve received your payment and it has cleared. You must be over eighteen to purchase prints from this site.
Although we try to keep the information on the site up to date, the price, selection and description of available prints is subject to change without notice.
All prints are subject to availability. If for any reason we’re unable to fulfill your order, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of choosing a substitute print or receiving a refund.
Prints may not be purchased for the express purpose of resale.
Packaging and Shipping
The cost of shipping is calculated using a fixed rate, as indicated in your shopping basket, except in special circumstances. International shipping may attract additional costs.
We do everything we can to get your purchase to you quickly. Please allow up to two weeks for the prints to be fabricated, signed by the artist and packaged for shipping.
Our prints are carefully packaged with the aim of arriving at their destination in perfect condition. We ship with a reputable international courier such as DHL. All deliveries are fully tracked and signed for. You will receive notification by email when your order has been dispatched.
Shipping times will vary depending on circumstances and location. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery in the UK and between two and three weeks for international orders.
International Orders
Please note that international orders may be subject to duty, customs taxes and/or fees. These vary by country and are the buyer’s responsibility. Your package will be sent with the correct customs form label and will include a description of the contents and the purchase price of your print or prints.
Refunds and Returns
Because Michael Alford prints are individually fabricated to order, they are non-refundable. Once you’ve purchased a print, the order may not be cancelled.
If the package containing the print arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the damage including the whole package, a close-up of the damaged parts of the packaging, any shipping labels, etc. If there is damage to the artwork, then please take photos clearly showing the damage. Send your photos and description of the damage to michael@michaelalford.co.uk for review and appropriate action.

Warranties
Michael Alford prints are warranted free from defects in material or workmanship for three months from delivery. This warranty doesn’t apply to defects arising from wear and tear, willful damage, negligence by you or any other third party, use otherwise than recommended by us or repairs carried out without our approval. This warranty doesn’t affect you rights as a consumer.

Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to deliver your order or any delay, damage or defect to the goods when they arrive that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
Governing Law
English law applies to these terms and conditions and any sale of our prints to which they apply. By ordering from us, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all matters arising from them.
